For Christmas 2014, we partnered with some of our favourite food and drink companies to launch Christmas hampers to make it more satisfying to do some good at Christmas time.
Christmas is becoming more and more about giving gifts and less about doing good. We wanted to make sure it was as easy and fun as possible to eat drink, do good and be merry.
We prepared two hampers - one large, one small and all filled with treats; cheese, biscuits, chutney, olives, chocolate truffles, gin, a star decoration, a tea towel and two candles. Each product is not only very high quality, it also supported a cause, it might have provided employment for people with learning difficulties, epilepsy or autism or donated money to rehouse dogs, protect elephants or rebuild the lives of our country’s soldiers. Whatever the product story, shoppers were proved to have impeccable taste but also the money funded people and projects worth supporting.
We sold 40 hampers from London to Cornwall to Newcastle and were featured in the Observer Magazine.
