Our first film

We are proud to present our first film, a piece of fundraising communication for a new brand that is dedicated to creating transparent, fair and inclusive supply chains.

Siku Moja is launching their first collection and is founded by sisters Elly and Jo who have spent the past decade working in design and community outreach in both the UK and Tanzania. For them Siku Moja is both a fashion brand and an ambition – to create markets that are not driven by trend or season but in a shared interest to live a more sustainable and balanced life.

Over the last year Elly and Jo have been carefully designing their first collection of loungewear called 'The Everyday'. The garments are all made from handwoven bamboo, organic cottons, individually sourced vintage lace and traditional Tanzanian Kanga cloth from tailor's offcuts. The production of each piece will support women's projects in the UK and micro businesses in Tanzania through employment and training.

To launch the collection, Siku Moja needs to raise funds to produce it. So we have worked with them to create a film that announces the brand, shares the collection and asks for likeminded people to help fund the project. We shot the film with Elly and Jo in their studio in Winchester, capturing them working, detailing the materials, animating their drawings and documenting their passion to create a fairer and more inclusive global market.
